José Fuentes-Sepúlveda is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Concepción. He is interested in the design and implementation of multicore algorithms. In particular, he focuses on the parallel construction of compact data structures and compression algorithms. He completed his Doctorate in Computer Science supervised by Prof. Leo Ferres, and did his postdoc at University of Chile, supervised by Prof. Gonzalo Navarro.
